This 2004 AQHA Grulla Gelding was born and raised here on the ranch. 15 hands and double bred Jessie James on the maternal side with a very willing attitude about anything. Started as a 3 year old and went right to the pasture on him. Put him back in the arena to teach him his lead changes and collection that fall. Ranched on him his 4 year old year. My wife rode him his whole 5th year. We sent him to Missouri early spring of this year for rope horse training with Bruce Smith of Hannibal, Mo. Bruce finished him as a head horse. He is quiet in the box and puts you on cattle fast. Rates very well and is quiet. His young daughter roped off this horse also. He hauled this horse and won money on him before he brought him home in September. We only use a tie down on him in the arena and you can ride this horse in anything in the pasture. This gelding has done honest ranch work and then gone to the arena and proved he can get the job done. He gets along good on pasture and has been stalled and hauled alot. He will be the same everytime you get on him. This horse will be an investment for someone, use him and go win money with him also.

As seen in the pics below, the cowgirls of the family loved to ride this horse before he was sent off for his official rope horse training for the arena. Sometimes, Jim would get an opportunity to ride him when there was a job to do as well:).
