2004 GRULLA GELDING

This 2004 AQHA Grulla Gelding was born and raised on the ranch. This guy is good lookin!! 14.1 hh with the conformation and bone of a 15 hand horse. He was orphaned as a colt. My daughter and son rode this horse his 3 year old year. They put the basics on him out in the pasture and also in the arena working on his stops, lead changes and loping circles. He has just been a ranch horse since then that everbody rides, including me. He doesn't know he is a little horse!! I'm a pretty big guy and he will pack me all day in rough country gathering or checking cattle. He has been exposed to alot of different situations and terrain. He handles everything with a willing attitude and a calmness that comes with maturity. He has just started his rope horse training by tracking a lead steer and starting to leave the box. This horse will just make you smile if you get on him and ride. He is so quiet and yet he has alot of speed and doesn't get hot. I've always thought this gelding would be a terrific match for a young person getting ready to rodeo. He is bred to do it all and has the speed and brains to get it done.

The pasture photos were taken last summer when we were moving heifers.
