WHAT ARE YOUR PRAIRIE DOG HUNTING FEES?
$100 per person per day.
HOW MUCH ARE THE LICENSE FEES AND WHAT DOES THE LICENSE COVER?
Yes, the license fees are figured into the online package rates. Lower Brule Wildlife Department currently charges $160 per person for the year. The $10 general license and $150 prairie dog licensing are required. The general license is a prerequisite to all the hunting licenses the wildlife dept offers. The $160 prairie dog license is also a yearlong license. This is the only licensing required to hunt on our ranch. There are no limits and hunters may shoot from sunrise to sunset.
IS THERE A LICENSED GUIDE AVAILABLE?
Of course.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRAIRIE DOG TOWNS LIKE?
Several hundred acres of prairie dog towns are available. We only allow select number of hunts on our towns. Matter of fact, each year the towns increase and spread throughout the pastures. Most hunters are amazed at how the towns grow each year.
HOW REMOTE ARE THE PRAIRIE DOG TOWNS?
Most of the Prairie Dog towns are conveniently located near the highway or a gravel road. We do have towns that are more remote in the pastures.
HOW MANY CAN WE HAVE IN OUR PARTY?
Usually 2-4 people works best, but we can accomodate up to 6 people at a time.
IF WE WOULD LIKE TO HUNT FOR MORE THAN TWO DAYS, CAN WE REQUEST MORE DAYS?
We try to accomodate work and vacation schedules, just call or email and ask about booking more or different dates as soon as possible.
CAN WE COME BACK AND HUNT, AT THE RANCH, IN THE SAME YEAR WITH OUR LICENSE?
Yes, just email or call for availability. We encourage hunters to get the best value for their annual license fee by also hunting in the summer and fall.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
Yes, we accept credit cards through www.paypal.com. We will email you a confirmation when payment clears. It's that simple!!
CAN WE PAY INDIVIDUALLY OR DO WE NEED TO PAY ONLY ONCE AS A GROUP?
Whatever is easiest for your group. If you do pay individually, please decide who your main contact person is for your group. Each person, at the time of checkout, should mention the main contact person's name.

Call or email us with the dates you would like to reserve and how many would be in your party. We will then call you about the availability, and if available, we will hold those dates.
