Description
Beautiful black-tri female with white and copper points and brown eyes. Stands 19 inches tall. Registered with ASDR and NSDR.
Extremely intelligent, conformationally correct, and was easy to train. Due to her age, Sadie passed away the Fall of '09 as our oldest and one of our best all-around stock dogs on our ranch. No job was too big or too small for Sadie. She loved it when a cow or bull challenged her and didn't have any quit or fear in her. When needed, she'd even slow down to help gather guinneas, ducks and chickens as well. When asked, Sadie even liked to show off and perform numerous tricks.
Because of her personality, eagerness to please and work ethics... we kept back two daughters and one granddaughter, so far, over the years. We are excited to have Sadie's genetics live on through her girls. In Sadie's last retirement year, we used her as a training aid to start the younger generations. This worked great because "the kids" and the other dogs looked up to her for guidance whether in the pasture or anywhere on the place as well.
